TA is a tangent at A. Angle TAB = 62°, angle ABC = 48°. Determine, with reasons, the size of angle BAC.
angle ACB = angle TAB = 62°
Tan-chord: the angle between a tangent and a chord equals the angle in the alternate segment.
angle BAC + 48° + 62° = 180°
Angles in triangle ABC add up to 180°.

Write your line, then uncover how it is set out and the reason for it. The working ends on the answer and, where there is one, the mistake the question is built to catch.
It reads your study material first
Before it writes the working for a question, SymbioLearn reads the passages in your Sources that match it and works from those. Where a line rests on a concept in your module, it names that concept and links to it, so a line that will not go in takes you to the concept behind it.
With the memorandum
Add the memorandum once the paper has been read. Its answers are paired with the questions by number, so 3 (b) (ii) and 3.b.ii count as the same question. The working then arrives where the memo does, and when you reach the answer, what the memo says is shown underneath. Without one, the working comes from your study material and the question alone, and the question page tells you so.
Files and plans
A paper can be a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Markdown file, as long as its text can be selected. A question that refers to a diagram is marked as having one, and the working says where a step depends on something only the diagram shows.

Questions
Does it mark my answers?
No. You write your working yourself, uncover the next line and compare. Nothing is scored, and with a memorandum attached you also see what it says once you reach the answer.
Can I add the memorandum later?
Yes, any time after the paper has been read. A question you had already opened keeps its working until you press Work it out again, which redoes it with the memo.
Can it read a scanned paper?
Not yet. The paper needs a text layer, the kind you can select and copy. A paper that is only pictures of pages is refused with a message saying so.
Will the paper add concepts to my module?
No. A paper sits on its own page beside your Sources and never becomes concepts. Quizzes, flashcards and Lessons do not draw on it or on its memorandum.
